Parents, we need your help!
The PGJHS Guidance Center is conducting an online Needs Assessment and wants your feedback. The information you provide is vital for us to address the changing and varied needs of our students and implement effective programs to meet those needs. The assessment consists of 24 questions and takes approximately five to six minutes to complete. Click on the link below, or cut and paste it into your browser for 24-hour access. Thank you for your participation!

Student council is selling flowers and chocolates for Valentine’s Day. Sales will be during lunch, TODAY is the last day. Roses will be $1.50 and chocolate kisses will be $1. They will be delivered next Friday, February 12. Good morning! Today is the final day of National School Counseling Week. I have a question for each of you: What is one of the biggest keys to your future success? Have high expectations! Michael Jordan once said, “You have to expect things of yourself before you can do them.” If you want to go to college, do the things now that will get you there–go to class, do your homework, listen to your teachers, get plenty of rest and exercise, maintain a healthy lifestyle, and surround yourself with others who have high expectations. Expect more of yourself. Experience success. Visit with your school counselor to help you plan for a successful future.” Archery Club our yearbook picture has been switched to next Wednesday Feb 10th during FLEX. Welcome to spring Vikings! The track team starts practicing February 23rd! There will be an information meeting on Feb. 10th. The information meeting will be in one of the gyms, starting at 3 o’ clock, and will only take about 15 minutes. There are quite a few unlabeled shoes and uniforms that were left in the girl’s locker room from 1st semester. If you are missing your gym shoes or uniform come and get them or they will be donated! The deadline to sign up for Battle of the Bands is this Friday, Feb. 12th. There is a flyer in the office for more information. Our Viking Value of the week is Friendship. Friendship is the frosting on the cake of life. Friends enrich lives. Value your friendships. Make new friends every day. Choose good friends and then be true to them. Help them out. Life without friends would be pretty boring. So celebrate each friendship. Have a Fabulous Friday Vikings!! Teachers, please have a student lead your class in the Pledge of Allegiance at this time.
