Springside Elementary School Is having a BOOK FAIR on September 30th - October 3rd!

Reminder: Monday, September 29th will be a teacher work day. Students do not attend on that day.

Mark your calendar for the annual Springside Fall Festival sponsored by our illustrious PTA! It's always a fun event for the family! Friday, October 10, 5:00-8:00 pm.

Lunch With Loved Ones, sponsored by the Springside PTA, is coming up next Monday, Sept. 22. Please see attached flyers for details and a map of where to meet your student. This event is for you, a grandparent, aunt/uncle, older sibling, or any loved one. We would love to see you there. However, we know many are working parents or otherwise unavailable. We have such amazing students and parents. We hope no child will be eating lunch alone and feeling sad; but if you happen to see a child sitting alone, invite them to sit with you and your students. For students whose loved ones couldn't attend, they are invited to sit with Mr. LaBare and the Springside Owl if they would like. See attached details. We hope to see you there!

Earlier this afternoon, there was an accident on I-15 in the Lindon area. Northbound I-15 is currently closed and freeway and arterial roads are all experiencing significant delays. This road closure will impact busing throughout the district. We anticipate delays at multiple schools, including activity buses. All routes will be completed, but it is unknown how long this will take.

Good morning Springside! After one day of our PTA Fundraiser we have already raised $4,217!! Thank you to all those who have generously donated! We are getting closer to our goal of $5,000 - keep those donations coming!!

Feeling Artsy? The PTA is sponsoring the reflections program at our school. See the flyers for the categories. Go to https://www.utahpta.org/ref to enter your student's project. The theme this year is "I Belong".
Entries are due by October 8th.

Our school is partnering with the City of Saratoga Springs for the annual 9/11 Day of Service. One of this year’s projects is creating Birthday Boxes for local families in need. These boxes ensure that every child in our community feels celebrated and included on their special day.

We are asking for your support in two ways:

Good morning Springside! We will be conducting a Lock Down Drill this morning at 10:00am.

The School Community Council (SCC) includes parents, teachers, students, and community members who work together to create the School Improvement Plan, Digital Citizenship Plan, and School Land Trust Plan. Please use the link below to vote for nominated Springside community members to serve as Parent Representatives for a two-year term starting in the 2025–2026 school year. Voting will close on Friday, September 12 at 5:00 PM.
